    welcome to whatnext - it's a really good place for the support that you're seeking.

    i see that you're in the middle of the really scary stuff - please don't come to the worst possible conclusion yet. a 9mm nodule is very small. that there are multiples doesn't change that it's still very small - which could be sarcoidosis (my stepmom has it), or it could be granulomas.

    so if it hasn't been definitely diagnosed with a biopsy, i wouldn't give up the ship just yet.

    however - a 9mm node will not show uptake properly on a PET scan - it's too small (i know this from personal experience) - when is the biopsy scheduled for?
