Hi Francyn,

My advice is to insist on CAT/Pet/Brain MRI on more than an annual basis the first year or two. I think my melanoma could have been stopped sooner had I known to do that.

I am Stage 4 now, but I had a LOT of fun ignoring melanoma for a full year after my initial skin surgery, so there was an upside to ignorance. Also, people seem to love me more now

Hi Francyn, I was stage IV 5biochemotherapy. years ago and the melanoma was in my lungs, but not in my brain or liver or bones. I am BRAFF positive and did biochemotherapy as the new drugs out today were in clinical trials. Do not lose HOPE!! Stay strong!!
