The Ovarian Cancer is back but I received wonderful news from my Oncologist. My blood level (CA 125) dropped 100 points in 3 weeks from chemo start date. I began my infusions on 4/2/14. (The CA 125 is the Ovarian Cancer Predictability tumor marker.) Looks like my new "cocktail" (Carboplatin and Gemzar) is "killing" the cancer cells in the abdomen. The "Power of Prayer" is strong and cannot be beat! My blood counts have dropped including my Hemoglobin and Hematocrit. I have had multiple shots plus two pints of blood a week ago. The next round will be next Thursday! Keep those prayers coming!

Hi DeBuhr. I see you've elected to follow me. Just be aware that I try to be a bit of comic relief. My sense of humor helped get me through treatment. Looks like you are going through some stuff again. Wishing you the best w/treatment. Good thoughts winging your way.

Welcome to WhatNext. Thank you for taking the time to register. I see you did not register a diagnosis. When you are ready, I recommend you register a diagnosis so we can match you to relevant peers, information and resources.

I look forward to learning about how you have been affected by cancer and how we can help.
