Thanks for being with us. I see that your loved one is a stage IV patient and you have concerns about longevity. That is a constant concern and as you can see by the answers you have received, we really can't say for sure. The Doctors will give you their best guess, and sometimes they are spot on, but other times they are not. We have several people here at WhatNext who are long time survivors from stage IV and they were also told they had maybe 6 months or so, that turned out to be incorrect.
I wish you the best and longest possible time, and please ask whatever questions you need to, no matter how tough, silly, bad or good you think the question is, we are here to help.
