I hope your treatment regime has been what you expected and you are moving along nicely. I will be starting chemo therapy and radiation next week. My cancer is a stage 1V.

I am so overloaded with being sole care giver and fighting the VA - but I do so wish to take time to compare notes. I will try for tomorrow, Sat the 14th.

I am a 4 stage EC survivor. Since I hate to type read my post about my journey and my battle with EC. I was cancer free after treatments but depending on where in the esophagus the tumor is located might determine quality of life and the extent of the recovery after the surgery.

We have support groups that meet by conference call on a monthly basis. Patients calling in with quality of life questions and hearing how other patients have handled a specific issue.

We also have a 24 hour hotline to help with quality of life questions as well. Check it out.
