Rkaygrl, Hi. Let me try this again. I am at the same stage you are. I am newly diagnosed. I suppose you are a little overwhelmed by this. I know I had all kinds of thoughts running through my head. I have a friend that is going through treatment. She told me to think of this as a hurdle jumping race. And only look and think of the first hurdle. That was very helpful. So, my first hurdle is the visit with the oncologist on the 18 Feb. It's been a long wait. So thinking about this day and its activities. Keeps me focused. Have you seen the oncologist yet? How are you dealing with this. I've had two bad days where I cried, a lot. And that's ok, It just kind of hits you. Do you have a good support system in place. I have wonderful prayer warriors. And several I know that they help through the rough days. Just random thoughts to help you cope with unwelcome change

When I first started with this site I had a lot of questions and found people to help with answers. The person you are supporting may want to join as well. Feel free to share your feelings or ask any questions you like. People here are always happy to share their experiences. It's a scary journey that we're all going though...but we're going through it together.

Greetings. Welcome to What Next. There are lots of great people here -- patients/survivors, caregivers, & family. If you have any questions, please use the question tab above -- that way the entire network will have access & you'll get a quicker response. I see your loved one was diagnosed stage IV -- I am also a stage IV endometrial cancer survivor; I've been ticking along for 2 & a half years and still show no evidence of disease. I hope your loved one can get to that place as well. Glad you found us but sorry for the circumstances that led you here. I wishing you both all the best.

Hello and welcome, we are happy to have you with us. Please feel free to join in the conversations. Here is a link to our cancer dx page for your type of cancer. Take a look at it to get you started on some information. You will notice at the bottom of that page 4 of our active users who have had that journey already, you may wish to contact them for their experience and wisdom. Also, I encourage you to go to the questions page now by clicking on the questions tab at the top of the page and post what is the most pressing issue you have right now. This will introduce you to the community and get you started on the help you need right now.

    https://www.whatnext.com/conditions/cancer/endometrial-uterine-cancer

There are also subtypes listed on this page to narrow down the type of cancer to match your dx.

Also, if you can take a few minutes and fill in some details of your journey so far, it will help others as they try to answer questions for you, it also helps others as they search through the data base to find someone like themselves. Confirming your email will allow you to receive updates and notices from the site when someone answers your questions or writes on your wall.

Thanks for being with us and let me know if I can help you find any information on the site. After you have an opportunity to look the site over and see what great things there are here, we encourage you to invite your friends, family or anyone you know that may be helped by the connections on WhatNext to join the site also. Just click this link to invite them to join. http://www.whatnext.com/recruit-a-friend
