Just checked out the info on xgeva again and there have been clinical trials which show that it slows down the growth of tumors in the bone. So I'm glad I've been getting it since they found my lesions.

Keep it positive and smile :)

Hi Poliana, I just seen your post, you put it in an update post and it didn't show on my page. You have to post on the page of the person you are talking to for them to see it. Thanks for sharing your Dad's experience.

My father went through Prostate cancer treatments for 13 years. At the end it progressed and spread to his pelvid, bladder and lungs. However, he never would take the drugs that he was supposed to be taking, so it just progressed unchecked.

Information you are looking for can be found at the top of the page in the resources link. The American Cancer Society has lots of information on all types of cancer. Click the link, on resources and then search for prostate cancer and you will see a wealth of knowledge.

Please let us know if you have more questions.

    Thanks
    Greg P
