    Welcome from a Stage IV rectal cancer survivor. I was Stage IV at diagnosis. Unfortunately, it is not uncommon for colorectal cancer to recur within the first year after treatment. I am sorry that this has happened to you. But it's good that they can do a liver resection. Best wishes for treatment success.
