Hello, I noticed that you had a DIEP reconstruction recently. You note minimal recovery, etc. I was wondering if you would tell me something about your surgery. It is my only option for reconstruction and I was told it was extremely painful, a long recovery/ rehab time and it would be almost a year out of my life before I felt normal again. Also, it was a 12 hr surgery. Was any of this true for you? I would appreciate any info you could give. Thank you and I hope you are having a great day.
