Your latest picture is a good one! You wouldn't know you ever had anything wrong. We are happy you're doing well!

Hey Loafer, just wanted to see if you had a picture you wouldn't mind sending me to use in a video project I'm working on? It's just for fun and will be used here on WhatNext. As long as everyone is ok with it, I'd like to share it with my friends on Facebook as well. If you have a photo I can use, I'll send you my e-mail address. : )

    Hi Loafer,

I was looking for information on the cold cap and saw that you tried it. Can you tell me what you experienced, if it worked and if you recommend trying it.

Was first afraid to read but glad I did. I am having a mascetomy because I have 2 spots that are too far away from each other. One is stage 0 and the other stage 2. Going to have double masectomy just for preventive reasons and immediate reconstruction. It is estogen driven. Thank you for reaching out!

I love your new haircut!!! You look terrific. Have you seen any eyelashes or brows dropping? I was told I might not lose mine as I'm only going to have 4 rounds of T/C...always thinking about you and wishing you well.

Thanks for responding to my search for TNBC. My chemo started June 7th and within 3 weeks my hair was all gone. I don't believe anything would have stopped it. Although it took longer my eyebrows and eye lashes are history, too. I am interested in the conversation about watching for recurrence for 3 years. That's the first I heard about a time when you can exhale (a little).

I was thinking about you today and wondering how you are feeling? I went to Gilda's Club today...a real stretch for me to make that step but I am so happy that I did...sending blessings and hugs,

    Loafer,
I am an oncology/ end of life nurse and I am trying to secure funds for Nellie to pay for her test so I will await the organization to contact me that was suggested by Myriad and see if I can get help for you as well. Myriad holds the patent for the BRCA testing and they are very helpful. Sit tight, it may not be until Monday until I get a response but let me see what I can do to help. There is one thing I have learned throughout working with my girls is that there is always a way. Let me do the leg work and I will be in touch over the weekend to update you. Carm.

Teddyfuzz knows what I am talking about. You should of been given anti nausea meds too!!! zofran, compazine something. Neulasta didnt bother me, but I have heard some ppl say claritin works for them for the pain. I take benadryl to sleep after chemo. I have my chemo on wednesdays, work thursday and friday and then late friday and saturday are my bad days. sunday is usually better. i lost my taste for almost everything and you get the hairy tongue. not all ppl get all the symptoms, we are all different.
