When I read what your friend sent you about what Cancer Can't Do, I have thought along those same lines when I got my Cancer Sucks shirt after a friend in the support group had died. Her husband always said "Cancer Sucks" so I bought it in memory of Gayle. But I always think even though Cancer Sucks it can't suck your friendships, love, courage, faith, hope, peace, memories, soul or eternal life, to say nothing of cancer conquering our spirit. These were always my thoughts but had never seen it printed, so thank you. Stay strong and believe that you are stronger than the cancer. Give it the good fight and know that the Lord only gives us what we can handle. Although, some days, I say "Lord, enough already, and then other days I ask "Lord, what do you have in store for us today, because between you and me, we can handle it, so bring it on". Have a great day. I have been through it all these past 8 years, starting with the death of my 49 year old daughter, brain aneurysm, my breast cancer diagnosis, the death of my grandson's mother, fatal car accident while returning from her destination wedding in Florida, my Kidney Failure 4 years ago, my Endometrial Cancer diagnosis, and the death of my grand daughter 6 months after her heart transplant. Now he step father has passed and his funeral is Saturday. My grand daughter left an 8 yr. old son who has lost his mom and now his grand father, but I am still a survivor. Perhaps Life isn't fair, but I will take it. I am 78 and everyone else were so young. But, I am happy to be alive to encourage others in their quest for good health and happiness. Stay strong.

    Hi Jane,
I'm sort of a neighbor--spend a lot of time on Amelia Island and once lived in Jax. We all welcome you into our "club," and we wish only the best results for your clinical trial and treatment. May you be one of the best responders of all. Don't hesitate to ask questions, as you'll get much help from this group.

Hi Jane. Welcome to What Next. There are lots of great people here. If you have any questions, please post them on the question tab above -- that way everyone has access & you'll get a quicker response. I was diagnosed stage IV endometrial cancer in Aug 2012 -- currently have no evidence of disease (NED). Hoping the chemo/clinical trial drug helps shrink tumors down, maybe to the point they can be removed. I'm glad you found us but sorry for the circumstances that led you here. Wishing you all the best.

Hello and welcome, we are happy to have you with us. Please feel free to join in the conversations. Here is a link to our cancer dx page for your type of cancer. Take a look at it to get you started on some information. You will notice at the bottom of that page 4 of our active users who have had that journey already, you may wish to contact them for their experience and wisdom. Also, I encourage you to go to the questions page now by clicking on the questions tab at the top of the page and post what is the most pressing issue you have right now. This will introduce you to the community and get you started on the help you need right now.

There are also subtypes listed on this page to narrow down the type of cancer to match your dx. Also, if you can take a few minutes and fill in some details of your journey so far, it will help others as they try to answer questions for you, it also helps others as they search through the data base to find someone like themselves. Confirming your email will allow you to receive updates and notices from the site when someone answers your questions or writes on your wall. Thanks for being with us and let me know if I can help you find any information on the site. After you have an opportunity to look the site over and see what great things there are here, we encourage you to invite your friends, family or anyone you know that may be helped by the connections on WhatNext to join the site also.
