I read your comment about the burn on your neck. I put a coat of vaseline on my neck and night and tied a dishtowel around it "cowboy bandana style" to keep it from rubbing off on my sheets. It helped to keep my neck from peeling and was soothing the dryness. I hope that will help you.

Hope your doing well finishing out your radiation. For me I started feeling better within days after stopping the treatments, but this is little small steps. By the time I finished, I had lost my voice completely, and was just about black around my neck. Each day brought some little improvement. I would say it was a couple months before I wasn't thinking about all the things that were wrong with me. I still have dry mouth like XXX19XXx described. I am taking saligen for that trying to help. I also had to have all teeth removed since the dry mouth wouldn't keep them clean and moist they decayed and got brittle and chipped. I have 8 more to have cut out, then on to dentures.
I am 4 years out from radiation this month. So, it takes a while.
    Best of luck to you.
