Curlysue, Thanks for the comment in my "experiences". I finished treatment in January. The mastectomy and first stage reconstruction was August 23 and the axillary dissection surgery was September 11. There are a lot of weird sensations and numbness as a result of it. The surgeon told me it would take up to two years for that area to heal. I met with a lymphedema specialist and they had a custom compression sleeve made. I don't wear it very often. Range of motion is okay, but I find myself wanting to stretch my arm so it feels better. Feel free to ask me anything. Hang in there. THAT SURGERY IS A TOUGH ONE!!!0July 2013
