Saw your post today about considering acupuncture. I was diagnosed and treated for Type III colorectal and its is now two years post final FolFox and still have peripheral neuropathy. Not bad enough for the Lyrica's, but still am searching for relief, even tried high dosage (1,200mg/day) alpha lipoic acid without seeing any benefits Also was told about acupuncture. Should you get some feedback on this treatment, appreciate your passing it along. Keep the faith.

Thank you CathyIvy. Sorry for your diagnosis. My daughter had one large lesion/tumor which decreased 75% with Chemo in 3 months, but when placed on only Zeloda (Pills) it has increased. She also developed more lesions/nodules in both of her lungs and Dr decided to add Avistan to her regimen. As I understand it, tumors may decrease but do not eradicate/are killed. Dr wanted to remove one lesion, but when she developed many tumors, they refused to remove all lesions which others are small ones. You say that you had one lesion which was eradicated/killed by chemo. That is awesome. Have you been doing any alternative medicine, or anyone else, together with Chemo? ie. Hippocrates Clinic, Dr. Gonzalez, or vitamin supplements while on chemo? Are there success rates with these alternative programs.
