    Hi teddyfuzz,

I am so grateful for your reply to my question about changing jobs. It really helped me let go of the fear. Another person asked if the new employer knows about my diagnosis. Ugh. I am a very honest person but I just don't know if I am willing to "go there" with my new boss. On the other hand, and I know this might sound crazy, I will feel sooo bad if I have a recurrence on my new employers insurance dime. Will they feel betrayed? I would love your thoughts if you have time.

About the nipples, I had the nipples reconstruction and tattoos. I saw Dr. Enevoldsen in Modesto and he was amazing. My radiation doctor has asked me more that once if I have any nipple discharge and I have to remind him that these are not real nipples. About the tattoo am ok with mine. Nothing special. I think maybe you are right, an experienced tattoo artist may do a better job.

    Thanks again!!!

Well, my friend. You have given a ton of rational thought, strength and comfort to a complete stranger today...I am deeply grateful. And, btw, you are an excellent writer. So concise and encouraging. Thanks for sharing your wig story. That is a gooood wig!

Big prayers of happiness and good health for teddyfuzz from Healthy1. XO

Sorry, but gotta disprove that broccoli/asparagus connection to no cancer....I eat both and well...you know the rest of the story! BTW, I DID manage to get most of the eyeliner off! And believe me, it was very liberally applied by that woman! Because of my hair, she declared I was "the dramatic type", which is funny! What she didn't know was that my hair was an expression of my anger and disbelief that cancer would hit me twice in 9 years! While there IS a wild child (or more accurately, a "wild old woman") in me, I am actually more the "natural" or "classic" type! Jeeze!

I'm thinking of getting some sort of button to pin on my head covering to stop folks from wondering. Seen any?

Thank you for sharing about your expanders and chemo. I was a DD also. I've only had one filling with expanders and they are painful. I kinda like the idea of going smaller right now. The insight about the chemo is very helpful. I'm very prone to nausea so I'm encouraged to know I have some options to work through this phase. You mentioned you didn't care for the way the implants turned out. Can you share about that?

    Hi teddyfuzz,
Thank you for the hugs. You're right, there is a positive in there and I will find it. Thanks for the encouragement!

I Teddyfuzz. I would be interested in hearing your experience with the chemo and the reconstruction. Did you have expanders placed? I start chemo in a few weeks. Did you have to deal much with nausea or germphobia around others?
