My husband was diagnosed with small cell lung cancer has gone thru cisplatin and etopside, then went into a research but that didnt help and is now on topotecan. He holds up pretty good, gets tired but still works full time but does have numbness in his feet and hands from the chemo, no pain thank goodness. He was diagnosed in October last year, age 62.

I hope you are feeling ok today after your first day of round 6. Today was also my partner's first day of round 6. She is scheduled for a PET scan on the 20th. The results will dictate future treatment. High five and smiles to you!

Would you share your treatment with us? My partner has the same cancer and is still in treatment. How long was your chemo treatment?

thank you for the info; We were just wondering because we don't know what to expect. My partner starts her 6th round of chemo Wednesday. Her first 4 were cisplatin and etoposide, but they had to change from cisplatin to carboplatin in the 5th round because of kidney problems. Her medical oncologist told her that she would have a minimum of 6 rounds, so I guess we will find out more this week.

Hello, I have been told by my doctors that they have seen spots in my lungs. Thank God you are not in my situtation of not being able to get back to any of your appointments. I have rescheduled over and over again, but my next appointment is on the 23rd of this month and has been set up by the american cancer society. Please let me know it there were any spots that was seen in your lungs prior to your testing. I will keep you in my prayers and Thanks
