Yes, they want them off even though I'm not sure they totally understand what silk wraps are. They told me I could paint my nails once the wraps are removed, which was a concession since I admit I was having a down day and I was crying my head off about the nails- sounds silly but they are soooo part of me- I love perfect nails, hair and am a "clothes horse". I think I'm handling chemo way worse than the mastectomy- couldn't care less about losing a breast. The implant will be fine. I have a little social anxiety (which no one ever believe because I am really outgoing once I get to the event or wherever) and looking good is like my armor
Well a wig will do. Short nail will do. I'm adjusting!
