So glad to hear back from you. There are too few of us with lung Cancer making it. I am sorry about yout lung infections and I hope that gets under control. I too struggle with alot of fatigue but I am trying every day to get stronger. I had one small tumor in my upper left lung. 2 cm but i had an enlarged Lymph node in the center right of my chest too which put me at IIIB.
May i ask where your cancer was ?
Yes, the Radiation was brutal and I think thts what I struggle with because of the damage done to my right lung from the radiation given to the LYMPH node.
But I have been doing well. Still on the 3 months of scans.
So happy we are both here.

hi tired, how are you doing? I was Dx's IIIB also. March 2012. I had chemo/radiation and surgery. everything was dead anyway. I then had three round sof adjuvant chemo and finished that up last November.

would you tell me your story? It sounds like your cancer was completely killed by the treatments..I pray it was.

I just want to tell you that 85% of lung cancer returns in the first two years. Its sound slike your tumors are dead? I am I correct? It takes alot of time for the body to clear that dead tissue.

The fact that you have mad eit this far is excellant and you are now only doing every 6 months. Hopefully you think of yourself as cured.

Where were your initial tumors ? Why did you have advjuvant chemo? Did something continue to grow?

waiting on the scan results - i know that feeling all too well. I'll say a prayer, and think good thoughts that your scan comes up unremarkable. please let us know how it goes?
