Hi Sofi, I had the same cancer.diagnosed Feb 2011,, I did have R Chop nothing to do with the Mayo information, my doctor told me 3 treatments of Chemo and then radiation. after the 3 treatments my scans were also clean. I spoke to the radiation doctor, after my 3rd chemo and went back to my onc ,I didnt want to take the radiation if I didnt have to,didnt like the sounds of it at all.. my onc told me I could take 3 more treatments of Chemo with the same results ..my sideaffects did get worse with each treatment, but I knew I would be done . Taking radiation was a choose for me, not sure if it is for everyone. But I was afraid of it, to the point of wanting to just get in my car and drive real fast so I could just out run the whole thing,kinda silly but thats how I felt.. I have been cancer free for 14 months will be having another petscan Oct 12.12.Wishing you the best stay strong you can do this.
By the way I also have a Blue Merle Shietie, they are the best dogs
