I too, have lung cancer. I don't know about the EGFR stuff, but I have mets to the bone with a tumor around my spine. I have been undergoing chemotherapy, although they held it last week because my counts were too low. I start radiation Thursday (Doctor cancelled Wed). I have undergone chem and rad last year for tongue cancer, or so they thought. I actually didn't have a real bad experience with it. This time, so far, I get some sores in my mouth that only last a few days, my fingertips are super dry and cracking, and I have peripheral neuropathy. It could be much worse.
