Hi Kristy, Just nosing around your wall and realized that your experience is very similar to mine except that I'm older than you. It's awesome to see that you are a survivor.. I made a mistake while looking for statistics on reccurence (sp), I found the survivor stats for 5 years... only 11%! It certainly is sobering. But like I said, it's great to see a survivor. Kristy, I saw your answer re have you ever felt like a vicitim thru this journey. I could relate to you because when I was diagnosed with colon cancer I too thought it was the worst thing that ever happened to me. Now though I realize that it has changed me for the better. I make the most of everyday and I am so grateful for the famiy and friends that I have in my life. I don't take anything for granted anymore. Oh, and I feel like a Survivor not a Vicitm anymore!
