Hi ElaineA, hope you are doing well. We met again with Dr. Kemeny this week and my husband's cat scan results show continued shrinkage. We are scheduled to meet with the surgeon next week to determine if both the liver resect and pump are doable. How are you coming along with the pump?

We had a productive meeting with Dr. Kemeny and are awaiting the cat scan and bloodwork results to determine next steps. My nerves are wracked but hopeful we're making the best plausible next move on this journey. He will continue to undergo systemic chemo in either case. Thanks for checking in.

Elaine, we are preparing for our initial consultation at Memorial Sloan with Dr. Kemeny next week. I have a few more questions for you. Once you met with her, what were next steps? Did they insert a catherer in your hepatic artery as part of the surgery? If so, any pain or discomfort with it? What mile markers were used to determine if the tumors were shrinking? How long was your recovery after the HAI surgery?

Do you mind me asking what Stage is your colorectal cancer? Have you had any surgeries up to this point? How about after the HAI pump is removed? Or can I talk to you offline?
