I'm new to this site and I see you haven't posted for a year - did you have good results from the Zytiga? I have the same diagnosis and it has spread to my lymph nodes with a extremely high PSA (in the hundreds). Surgery and/or radiation hasn't been recommended now - holding off the radiation for last ditch treatment. A recent bone scan didn't show any detectable cancer, and I'm hoping the Lupron/Casodex will give me some more time but won't know for another 3 weeks or so.
I hope your treatment has brought you more quality time, Jake.

Hi Jake. Hope all is well and your numbers remain low. As Time moves on I find new and different paths toward survival. I'll be starting a clinical trial later this month if every thing in the screening goes well this Wednesday. (warning sports metaphors to come) As I told the doctor, it's 4th and 61(my PSA) in the early 3rd quarter and I'll be darned if I'll punt. (and another) I'd rather hit a home run than load the bases with 3 singles. So I'm looking at a successful trial and will keep all informed. Screening is an all day series of scans, blood tests and exams. What fun!! Best get the iPad charged up so I can amuse myself in the waiting rooms.

Keep it positive and smile :)

Thanks for taking the time to read some of my comments. I hope that it helps others so they do not have to go through the maze as I did. Wishing you all the best and check out my journey if you have not already done so. All my best with your journey.
