I just read your experience. Seems strange they did your surgery after treatments. They did mine first to make sure it wasn't in my liver They removed my spleen because it was enlarged. Also the surgery was done for staging the cancer. They talked of chemo and radiation but tried the radiation first. That took care of it so I didn't have to have the radiation. I did lose hair on the back of my head where the radiation hit.. How scarey for you and your wife just being newlyweds. Were you and your wife able to have children then?
