    It's amazing HOW many stories you hear of Docs missing a diagnosis. Best thing to ALWAYS do is get a biopsy right away and that way we know.

    Hi l am glad to get ur message,John found out 3/4 mnths ago he has always had a lump in the side of his neck it never bothered him so he let it go gosh we have been married 15 yrs an its been there since we met so it is possible he had cancer a long time,although about 5yrs ago he went to a doc an it was supposed to be out patient procedure they would remove it they never said anything about cancer the doc said he would be back to work in 2/4 weeks John lost his job and so the procedure was put on hold he never went back to the doc until 3/4 mnths ago the doc wanted some tests he said it had gotten bigger and that it was fixed in his throut we went for test and the doc said it was cancer they did a bio on it and sure enough then more test revieled spreading to lungs and lymph nodes.we are upset if the doc told us in the beginning it could turn into cancer we would not of waited now its to late and they are saying surgery is no longer an option that he has maybe 6 mnths to live they want to give him kemo for pain and in hopes it shrinks the tumor in his neck.we have 4 kids young and we are devistated

    Hopeful130, thanks. I grabbed the info on the obturator, particularly, in the how to. I just had surgery adenoid cystic carcinoma two weeks ago. I am struggling badly with the obturator thing, lost 30 pounds and coordinating radiotherapy. But Got is great and we will survive. Blessings, Dan
